Hi everyone! Welcome to my first blog post! 🙂 I am very excited to share my journey with those who would like to follow along. This post is just going to be a basic intro to who I am and why I decided to participate in world race.

My name is Cody Lu and I am currently in my last semester at Emory University. I am a psych major on the pre-physical therapy track and plan to attend PT school after my gap year. I played collegiate tennis and enjoy all things outdoor (hikes, lake, exploring!). I also love to paint in my free time!

To backtrack a little, I was born in Louisville, Kentucky, moved to Atlanta and have lived there ever since! Fortunately, I grew up in a household who loved the Lord and brought my brother and I up in the church. I began attending local mission trips during my high school years and quickly fell in love with service. I loved the idea of pouring out to people or communities because Jesus poured into me. In college, I felt called to serve again and thought my gap year was a God-given opportunity to get back into it. In short, I was introduced to world race from my family group leader at Passion City church and decided to send in an application. I prayed for God to open the doors to where he wanted me and was lead here!

Thank you for reading and I cant wait for more blog posts! 🙂

  1. So admire your obedient heart to submit to God’s calling to go into this foreign nation to share the Gospel, sowing the precious seeds to help expand His Kingdom! Also, super grateful to witness the deeper root you are taking in Christ, submissively to be His hands and feet! Joshua 1:9!
SHINE for Jesus! To God be the glory!
